The music of Coffeebreak Island is a mix of ska, reggae, soul, punk, and rock & roll. Formed in 2001, this powerhouse quartet hails as one of the more well-known bands emerging from the Manila ska scene and truthfully delivers their music with a pulsing rhythm section and soulful voices. A unique repertoire of Ska classics and Reggae hits is what sets the band apart from numerous ska and reggae acts in the country. Inspired by The Specials, Selecter, English Beat, Hepcat, Toots & The Maytals, Bob Marley, The Police, Sublime and more, Coffeebreak Island has created a niche of its own and remains to push boundaries while defying expectations with their music, proof of which are the original compositions made by the evolution of sound experimentations.
